Querciamatta Italian Organic Olive Oil-Il Grigio

This is for 2-500ml bottles of Il Grigio Extra Virgin Organic Italian Olive Oil.

The Il Grigio (The Grey) blend of Extra Virgin Organic Italian Olive Oil expresses a proud character.  The Frantoio cultivar gives elegance and robustness, while Moraiolo provides strength and flavor. The olives are cold-pressed on the same day the olives are harvested and filtered naturally. To prevent oxidation, Il Grigio rests in steel vats together with inert argon gas. 

With scents of grass and cut hay, Il Grigio is moderately sweet/bitter on the palate, with good spiciness and a slightly bitter finish. It is both powerful and muscular, with a bright yellow color.  Il Grigio is great for tartare, fish dishes, and white meat dishes (never heated though).

This 100% Italian organic oil has a balanced and harmonious taste, with a sweet/bitter note that hits the palate and mellows with a pleasant spiciness and a slightly bitter finish. A lively oil that goes well with everything, because it binds flavors and brings balance to dishes.
