Metaphysic Marble Vases

The Metaphysic Marble Vases pay homage to the greats-De Chirico, Savinio, Soffici, Carrà, Morandi up to Rampinelli and Dalbecco-and urge the viewer to go beyond appearance and tangibility, beyond time and space.

Made of pink Portuguese marble, they have an irregular, worn surface, thanks to the etching process. The corrosion creates small hollows that bring out the color and texture of the material. The appearance is slightly antiqued, as if they had been made long ago and unearthed thanks to the happy discovery of an archaeologist.

This type of process will keep the texture intact.
